STEP$ Lunch and Learn Virtual Cafe

The STEP$ team is hosting weekly lunch sessions to provide answers and guide you through the program. We plan to share information about eligibility, application and payment as well as respond to your questions.

Supporting Teachers’ Earnings & Progress (STEP$) provides salary supplements to low-paid eligible educators working full-time (40 hours per week) with children from birth through age two in North Carolina. STEP$ is designed and funded by the North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE). This program is intended to better compensate and retain infant-toddler teachers and family child care providers, helping to recognize the invaluable work they do.
