Information Systems Coordinator
Job Summary
Manages and maintains technology systems, hardware, and software. Act as the bridge between non-technical staff and higher-level IT support, handling day-to-day troubleshooting, system performance monitoring, and user training.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Treat information on Early Years clients, employees or Board members in a confidential manner
- End-User Support: Setting up workstations, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and identity management.
- Printer and conference room support.
- System Administration: Monitoring network performance, running data backups, and performing routine software upgrades or security updates.
- Training & Communication: Educating employees on new software and systems, establishing IT usage protocols, and serving as the liaison between end-users and specialized IT support tiers.
- Inventory Management: Tracking IT hardware assets, coordinating software licenses, and working with external vendors for repairs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
- Assist in documentation, diagraming, and maintenance of architecture.
- Monitor and maintain IT inventory and supplies
- Monitor IT team performance and provide feedback
- Perform other tasks as assigned by IS Director

Education and Experience Requirements
- Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or related field
- Three to five years experience in IS support, network management, and system administration
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and other operating systems
- Knowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP and DHCP

- An automobile at his/her disposal; a valid, non-suspended NC driver’s license and a current automobile liability policy with continuous coverage. Reasonable accommodations may be made at agency’s discretion.
- Must be able to manipulate and operate office supplies and equipment. Occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential responsibilities.

- May require need for flexible schedules, including potential evening and weekend work
- Must adhere to established health and safety protocols when onsite at Early Years’s physical office locations
- Must have internet access at in home residence to support remote work arrangements as necessary
